The morning mist lingered over the Tuscan hills, a light drizzle falling gently on the fields around Podere Le Meraviglie. Yet, hidden behind the clouds, a hint of blue promised something special for Joline and Robin’s wedding day.
I had met them years ago at Lake Garda, during Larissa and Marco’s wedding. Seeing them again, now ready to celebrate their own love story, felt like reconnecting with old friends.
Getting ready, hoping for a miracle
Inside the villa, Joline was surrounded by laughter and familiar faces. Her mother helped her with the final touches, every so often glancing out the window, checking the uncertain sky. Despite the weather, the atmosphere was calm, full of quiet excitement.
And just when we needed it most, the miracle happened: as the ceremony ended, a spectacular rainbow stretched across the sky, a vibrant sign that this would be a day to remember.
An unforgettable evening under the Tuscan sunset
With the rain gone, the warm light of the sunset bathed the poolside dinner in golden tones. Shadows grew longer across the tables set elegantly for the guests, while laughter and clinking glasses filled the air.
Then came the unexpected: a flashmob! Within seconds, the dance floor was packed, and Joline and Robin stood there, mouths open, watching their parents lead the way with pure joy.
From the first shy raindrops to the last dance under the stars, this wedding was a perfect reflection of what I love about photographing in Tuscany—unpredictable, emotional, and endlessly beautiful.
