March 30th marked the beginning of a new wedding season—and there couldn’t have been a better start. Villa Palazzo Aminta, one of the jewels of Lake Maggiore, opened its doors exclusively for Ushma and Sid’s special day. The villa had not yet inaugurated its season, making the atmosphere even more intimate: the entire building and staff were completely dedicated to their guests.
Ushma and Sid, a wonderful couple from London with Indian roots, chose this breathtaking location to celebrate their love, combining elegance, tradition, and the timeless beauty of the Borromean Gulf.
Working as a wedding photographer on Lake Maggiore, capturing moments in locations like Villa Aminta and Isola Bella, means having the chance to tell stories framed by extraordinary scenery and authentic emotions.
A ceremony framed by the lake
The ceremony, beautifully conducted by Blessings From Italy, took place in the villa overlooking the shimmering waters of Lake Maggiore. Thanks to the flawless organization by Angelo Garini, every detail—from the floral arrangements to the refined setup—was perfectly curated throughout the day at Villa Garini and Cà Bianchetti.
Before the sun dipped behind the mountains, we took the opportunity to visit Isola Bella, one of the most enchanting places for wedding photography. The gardens were almost deserted at closing time, allowing us to create intimate and timeless portraits without crowds—a rare privilege in such a renowned location.
A night of elegance and celebration
The evening continued at Villa Aminta, where a beautifully decorated hall hosted the dinner and party. Angelo Garini’s artistic flair was evident in the floral design and elegant mise en place, creating a perfect atmosphere for this unique wedding.
