Sometimes the most beautiful stories start with a simple call.
My Skype rang one morning: it was Miho and Daniel, an Anglo-Japanese couple calling from Japan to talk about their dream wedding in the Cinque Terre, on a natural terrace above Monterosso al Mare.
They shared their vision with me: an intimate ceremony surrounded by olive trees, round tables decorated with olive leaves and lemons, and a slow August sunset over the Ligurian sea. All organized down to the last detail by their wonderful wedding planner, Melina.
Capturing a wedding between sky and sea
Listening carefully to a couple’s dreams is key to capturing their story authentically. Miho and Daniel imagined guests mingling under the olive trees, a first dance by the pool, and a soft, golden light enveloping the day.
Being a wedding photographer in Monterosso al Mare allows me to work in one of the most romantic landscapes in Italy, blending dramatic coastlines with heartfelt human stories.
Every smile, every glance, every detail of their choreography revealed their personalities—the quiet elegance, the playfulness, the deep connection between them.
