Returning to Friuli Venezia Giulia for a wedding always reminds me how beautiful and authentic this region is. Once again, Friuli did not disappoint my expectations.
The day began in one of the most charming locations in Udine: Piazza San Giacomo, a true jewel in the heart of the city. Small pastel-colored buildings embrace the square, where locals gather under large umbrellas to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in total relaxation.
Walking through Udine, you immediately feel its elegant and peaceful atmosphere. The food is incredible, the wines even better, and it’s no wonder that Giulia and Luca chose to celebrate their love surrounded by the places where they grew up and built lifelong friendships.

An emotional ceremony in Udine
Giulia and Luca’s wedding started with a heartfelt ceremony in the white church overlooking Piazza San Giacomo. An intimate and emotional moment, witnessed by family and friends who have shared their journey from the beginning.

Celebrations at Susans Castle in Majano
After the ceremony, the party moved to the majestic Susans Castle in Majano—an extraordinary venue for wedding photography in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The ancient walls, the beautiful park, and the timeless charm of the castle created the perfect setting for the evening’s celebrations.
The night lit up thanks to an incredible live performance by the famous Italian band Onde Beat, turning the courtyard into a stage filled with energy, music, and pure joy. Giulia and Luca alternated between romantic moments and bursts of laughter, completely immersed in the magic of their day.
