It was October 21st, 2017 when I boarded the plane at Malpensa, Milan, heading for Antwerp, Belgium, to photograph Benjamin and Seda’s Jewish wedding. The flight wasn’t just a trip for work; it was about reconnecting with old friends I had met on a previous wedding in Varenna, Lake Como: Philippe, Patrick, and Dominique.
I arrived in Antwerp, a charming and vibrant city, where I spent some time exploring and doing street photography before meeting up with friends for a dinner in the city center.
The wedding: a joyous Jewish Celebration
The following day, I had the honor of photographing Benjamin and Seda’s beautiful Jewish wedding in Belgium. The ceremony was rich in tradition, marking an important moment in their lives, but it didn’t stop there. The atmosphere was electric, especially when the music started and the guests filled the dance floor.

Patrick and Dominique
With them, it seemed as if we have been friends for years, we met in a wine shop in Como, we talked about wines.
I was buying my new home at the time, Patrick gave me some useful advice about the deal.
Philippe
At their wedding I met Philippe, their makeup and hair stylist, who also came from Belgium.
Philippe is the owner of one of the most important hair stylist studio in Belgium, we worked together and we had a nice day in Varenna.
I have to thank him for getting me in touch with Benjamin and Seda.
Well, the night before the wedding we met again all three and as old friends we had dinner in the center of Antwerp.
Nice to see my spouses again after more than a year.

But tomorrow it will be the turn of Benjamin and Seda. The Jewish religion marriage was, as I expected, an incredible party.
The dance floor exploded immediately after the traditional ceremony.
I was actually overwhelmed, I just enjoyed the moment.
Benjamin was very careful and everything went the right way, he cared a lot.
Seda seemed more carefree and calm, she lived the day always with a warm smile on her lips.
Both, even their closest relatives, made me feel part of the group immediately.
Gaetan
During this wedding I met Gaetan Guerin, a talented videomaker.
A few days before the wedding, he wrote me to give me his help and availability.
During the event, we helped each other, we teamed up right away.
A new friend in this beautiful wedding photographer’s adventure.
I hope to see them all again soon, you never know in life.
