In my career I have photographed weddings of people from big part of the world, religious marriages, civil or just a marriage between two people who love each other, who give themselves to each other without the need for official documents.

I was honored this time to photograph the gay marriage of Anna and Maria, two English fabulous brides who literally overwhelmed me with their elegance and kindness.

Everything was organized perfectly in Trentino Alto Adige where a warm and soft sunset lovely framed the white chairs and the arch of flowers.

The long shadows marked the green grass and the ancient trees that embraced all guests.

They arrived with the applause of their friends, hand in hand, almost intimidated.

The ceremony, like the speeches, was exciting and ironic.

My responsibility was to save all those “perfect moments” and I assure you there were many, I hope I was good enough.

Anna and Maria had been together for 10 years when they decided to tie the knot in Italy, where Anna’s family lived. They chose a beautiful venue in the Trentino Alto Adige, surrounded by rolling mountains and endless expanses of trees.

On the day of the wedding, Anna and Maria wore matching white dresses and exchanged personalized vows in front of their loved ones. The ceremony was filled with tears of joy and laughter, and the love between Anna and Maria was palpable.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests celebrated with a lively reception featuring delicious Italian food and dancing. As the sun set, Anna and Maria took a romantic walk through the trees overlooking the lake, arm in arm, and I was so lucky to capture the beautiful moment.

The following day, Anna and Maria set off on a honeymoon through the stunning Italian countryside, visiting quaint towns and enjoying the country’s rich culture and history. They returned home with a lifetime of memories and a love that was stronger than ever.
