Being a Wedding photographer in Lake Como: I love my job!
I am a wedding photographer based in Lake Como and I travel all over Italy and abroad for my weddings and elopements. In Lake Como I feel at home, this is the place where I love doing my job as professional photographer.
Lake Como surround you when you exchange your vows. The beauty, the quiet and elegance of the lake… is like a romantic movie set. For me photographing your wedding is also preserve the nature, the mood of this unique gem in Italy.

A great wedding photographer should excel in these five things:
-
Capture Real Emotions: A great photographer is there to catch those genuine, unscripted moments—the joy, love, and laughter that make your day unforgettable. The best photos happen when everyone is just living in the moment.
-
Play with Light: Especially in a stunning place like Lake Como, a good photographer knows how to use natural light beautifully, whether it’s the soft glow of golden hour or the romance of evening light, to make you and the setting look amazing.
-
Be a Calm Presence: Weddings can be a bit hectic! A calm, organized, and encouraging photographer makes all the difference, helping you feel at ease so your photos come out relaxed and beautiful.
-
Tell the Whole Story: A top photographer won’t just capture the big moments—they’ll also capture all the little details and the atmosphere, so your photos tell the full story of the day when you look back.
-
Bring a Fashion-Forward Touch: Great wedding photos have a sense of style! A photographer who’s inspired by fashion and editorial photography will add a touch of elegance, giving you timeless photos that feel like they belong in a magazine.

Tips and Trends Weddings 2025 from the pros:
Veronica Frasca, Wedding Planner Solidea Events
Solidea Events is a boutique agency specializing in luxury destination weddings and events in Italy.
“I don’t particularly enjoy following trends; instead, I prefer finding solutions that align with what my couples want to express on their wedding day. Joy, lightness, sophistication, elegance—there are so many styles that can convey these feelings, and I usually enjoy working together to find a style that’s personal and representative of the couple.
Certainly, in recent years, I’ve noticed a greater focus on details and the coordination of elements like flowers, tableware, linens, and stationery. This is a type of trend that I really appreciate and try to incorporate into my weddings.
I’ve also noticed a growing desire for vibrancy and color. Weddings are no longer just about white and green. It’s possible to create extremely elegant and “bridal” setups even with bright, bold colors. Of course, every couple is unique, and everyone is free to choose the colors and styles that best represent them. Personally, I love weddings that include even just a touch of color, and I think we’ll see more and more of this in the future.
Another trend I’ve observed is the desire to organize true moments of entertainment—not just on the wedding day, but also before and after.
Since I mostly work with international couples, it’s almost essential to plan activities for the guests, many of whom travel great distances to attend the wedding.
Often, these aren’t just simple dinners but full-fledged festive events or unique experiences, perhaps something that reflects the local area where the wedding takes place (a cooking class, a boat trip, etc.).
This certainly makes the work of a wedding planner more complex, but it also gives us the opportunity to create multiple events and convey a different message with each one, playing with colors, decorations, prints, and entertainment for the guests. Sometimes, it even involves creating a sort of performance, with dancers, performers, and actors. It’s no longer just a wedding but a unique experience to be lived and remembered for years to come.
It’s also wonderful to see how many couples are increasingly keen on incorporating traditional elements into their celebrations. We often work with mixed couples, with very diverse religious, cultural, and social backgrounds. This leads us to create truly unique and personal ceremonies and receptions, characterized by their distinctive and meaningful details.
