Lake Maggiore Wedding day – Carmen and Severin
After a fiery summer I start writing again on my blog.
The winter season is upon us, I will have more time for study, inspiration and reflection.
But let’s dive into the story of Carmen and Severin.
I remember this hot and peaceful day in August.
The windows look like paintings. The sky is blue, the lake reflectes on Carmen. A huge white cloud passes without seeing us.
The room is silent, the dress hanging, fresh flowers waiting in a transparent vase.
Carmen eats something with her dearest friend, they laugh, they speak softly.
The dress slides over her, her hair is soft and gathered.
Carmen looks through the glass at the blue of the lake that surrounds her.
It’s almost time.
Outside, the lined chairs are now all occupied, Severin stands looking around.
His hands cross, one on the other in that classic position when you don’t know where to put them.
When Carmen arrives it seems he shakes his hands, one in the other. They smile in silence.
