Country Relais Le Capanne Wedding – 2 days in Tuscany, 2 weddings in Tuscany (Part 2/2)

Here the first part of the double article!

After Sami and Francesca I am ready for another wedding in Tuscany, in the church of San Gimignano with dinner and party in the Tuscan hills at the Country Relais Le Capanne, run by an Italian / American couple, Vera and Dario.

The weather had held up until a few minutes ago, Agnes is ready, dressed, bouquet in hand.
A real storm outside started. The rain knocked insistently on the large windows of the room.
The wind bent the, now almost horizontal, olive trees and the pool was shaking in front of the immense hills of Tuscany.

Agnes was the most optimistic of all of us.
We got in the car, Robert was waiting for us in the Church of San Gimignano.

During the trip, I was a little worried about the weather which was really terrible. On the street we found a tree that forces us to go back and change route.

The curves between the vibrant vineyards, under a pitch-colored sky, are slippery. San Gimignano is up there, queues of daring tourists between us and Robert.

We arrive in the pedestrian area, distracted by the pressure of pre ceremony moments, we didn’t notice that in the meantime has stopped raining and Agnes could get off the car and be accompanied by her father.

Luck is with us also today.

The evening of August was warm with the colours of the sunset, calm and unforgettable.
