Argentine wedding on Lake Como
Imagine living in a land as splendid as Argentina.
Patagonia, el Calafate, Ushaia (La fine del Mundo) … are just some incredible places in this beautiful land.
Imagine that you decide to get married.
Imagine where. A different and exotic place, magical and romantic.
Imagine Italy, Lake Como, the silence of the peaceful water and the sun disappearing behind the mountains.
Villa Aura del Lago, Limonta.
The large terrace overlooks the mountains and below them a Riva boat buzz.
The pool is immobile, the trees defend it from the sun.
Maria Belen and Gonzalo, with their cheerful families, arrived a few days ago.
It’s an intimate marriage, I switch between the room of Gonzalo and Maria Belen.
He gives strength with a little scotch that it hasn’t seen any light in the last 20 years.
She smiles, jokes with her friends, holding a rosé bubbles glass with two fingers.
He adjusts his twins looking out the window.
She controls the iPhone with the corner of her eye, her hands in each other on her knees.
He in light blue suit, crosses his left hand over the other with relaxed arms. Turns his shoulders to look at her.
She walks quickly towards the lake that is behind him.
The huge pine tree refreshes the ceremony.
The chairs lined up, the heads still and careful, the two of them under a flower arch.
Behind the blue.
Here is what Maria and Gonzalo imagined and what I photographed.
