Wedding in Milan

We first met in the lively Cadorna area of Milan, at noon, with the city buzzing all around—cars, trams, bicycles, and the sound of people rushing through their day.

Chiara and Federico had invited me for lunch. It was our first meeting, and like all good things, it started with food and honest conversation.
They were open, curious, and immediately enthusiastic when I showed them some of my work.

We clicked right away.
By the end of that lunch, they asked me to be their wedding photographer in Milan, giving me full trust and creative freedom.
That trust is one of the most beautiful gifts I can receive.

A Milan wedding with late-summer light

Their wedding took place at the end of September, my favorite time of year.
The light is golden, warm, never too harsh. That late summer sun gives everything a soft glow—perfect for photos, and even more so for memories.

Chiara prepared for the day in a quiet, elegant home with a terrace overlooking a private courtyard. A secret corner in the center of Milan, full of charm and peace.

The ceremony was held at the Church of Santa Croce in Milan, a refined and timeless space where Chiara and Federico said their vows, surrounded by the people closest to them.

From city streets to castle stones

After the ceremony, they drove off in a white convertible VW Beetle—a touch of vintage elegance—to the Castle of Marne, where the reception would unfold.

In the park, under a large oak tree, the aperitif began. The light of the setting sun bathed everything in a warm, golden hue.
Friends laughed, glasses clinked, and the atmosphere was effortlessly elegant.

It wasn’t just a wedding—it was a celebration full of genuine joy.

As a Milan wedding photographer, days like these are a perfect reminder of why I do what I do: not just to take photos, but to tell real stories, made of details, feelings, and people who choose each other—again and again.
