15 years ago I shot my first weddings in Lake Como and here I return every wedding season for new weddings, elopements or engagement photo shootings. More I know Lake Como and more I find incredible locations, villas, small villages so typical and stunning.

My approach to wedding photography is founded in a deep love for storytelling. I match editorial style compositions with a fresh style to create images beautiful but also personal. My goal is to capture the spontaneous laughter, the genuine expressions and the quiet moments that define your wedding day.

I love Villa Cipressi in Varenna, Bellagio, and I giardini di villa Melzi, Tremezzo with its Grand Hotel Tremezzo one of the most elegant and historical hotel of lake Como. And Villa Regina Teodolinda, Villa Pizzo, Villa Del Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, Mandarin Hotel, Villa Erba. Cernobbio and Grand Hotel Villa d’Este is another location that I can’t forget to mention.

Matteo is truly talented and so fun to work with! He makes your photoshoot feel so natural while truly capturing the best backgrounds and lighting so effortlessly! We are from Colorado and traveled to Italy and therefore had to book a photographer solely on reviews and galleries and it worked out SO WELL. We did one hour of shooting in the streets of Varenna, no reservations required because we opted out of private villa properties. The streets were STUNNING and we liked exploring a place we have never seen with Matteo who knows the streets so well.
